Sign our petition to stop UK pension schemes financing fossil fuel expansion

UK PENSIONS INVEST £88BN IN FOSSIL FUEL COMPANIES. THAT’S £3,000 PER PENSION HOLDER.

I want my money invested in the solutions to the climate crisis, not those businesses fuelling the fire. After all, what’s the point in saving for retirement in a world on fire?

That’s why as a pension saver, I’m calling on all UK pension schemes to rule out financing for any new oil and gas. That means…

  1. Putting fossil fuel companies on notice to rule out expansion
  2. Voting against fossil fuel expanders
  3. Divesting publicly if they fail on steps 1 and 2

We cant afford for our pensions to be supporting fossil fuel expansion – it’s too risky for our planet, and it’s too risky for our savings. That’s why we’re calling for all pension funds to stop financing new oil and gas now.
