Jo is a former Number 10 and DFID special adviser with a career spanning Parliament, government, international development and campaigns.

Jo held a wide variety of political roles, advising on international development including on issues such as energy and climate and human development. Since then, she has worked extensively on the Global Goals – engaging with key stakeholders and finding new ways to communicate these issues to a broad audience.

As co-founder of Make My Money Matter, Jo hopes to catalyse a movement to help move trillions from investments which are ecologically destructive, socially divisive and economically unsustainable into those which drive the Global Goals and 2015 Paris Agreement.
